Bob Nobody

Bob Nobody is, literally, a Nobody. You forget his face five seconds after you
see him. You can't remember if he's your doctor's golf buddy or your
brother-in-law's partner at the firm. But one thing you do know is, you know
him from ... somewhere. So he's an alright guy, go ahead and trust him.

Bob's father was a circus magician, working in the big top and sawing clowns in
half. Bob learned a few tricks of the trade from his father, and a few more from
the clowns, but after high school decided to strike out on his own, instead.

After hitch-hiking around, Bob discovered that it was very easy for him to
befriend people and make connections, fitting in easily in whatever social group
he found. Working with these talents, and improving his abilities in disguise,
he became an adept fixer, bringing together people to make interesting work
happen.

Bob has done a dozen things. He's sold refridgerators in the Yukon.  He's moved
semi-legal cargos across the Sahara. He once helped transport a pod of dolphins
from an aquarium in Scotland back to the pacific. (But he has not yet gone to
college.)

After all this, Bob wanted to move to something more stable but still varied
and interesting.  Bob knew a guy who knew another guy who knew a guy in the
department who was hiring. This happens to him pretty much all the time, and
it's a good way for him to get work.
